Senior Product Manager

Location: San Mateo, CA

Position Summary:

Coremetrics is currently seeking a Senior Product Manager that will serve as a business line owner and voice for one or more of our current product offerings. The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and communicating a vision for future product development while concurrently managing current product offerings. The Senior Product Manager will report to a Director of Product Management and will work very closely with other teams within the company including the development, marketing, business development and sales teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify new market opportunities and functionality for the Coremetrics Continuous Optimization Platform through primary and secondary product, customer, and market research.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape, identify market trends, and articulate the product roadmap.
  • Collect, organize and prioritize product requirements from both internal Coremetrics departments and customers.
  • Assist in communicating solution value to the market through pricing, positioning, and customer focused presentations.
  • Coordinate releases across the company, and communicate new functionality
    to clients.
  • Own internal training for new solutions and functionality.
  • Own responsibility for all technical writing tasks associated with releasing new solutions and functionality.
  • Support key sales efforts for new solutions.
  • Represent Coremetrics at industry events and in discussions with
    industry analysts.

Skills:

  • Superior interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills with demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Experience in working in a highly cross functional environment and driving
    inter-departmental decisions.
  • Experience with sales cycles, including presenting to prospects and supporting key sales efforts.
  • A desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Highly self-motivated individual who works well in both individual and
    team efforts.
  • Strong understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, interactive marketing, and data warehouse, Business Intelligence and other related technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of direct product management experience in either enterprise software, software services, or internet technology (online marketing and business intelligence is a plus).
  • BS/BA degree in marketing, business or computer science. An MBA is preferred.
