Coremetrics Appoints Shawn Farshchi as Chief Operating Officer

Former WebEx Executive Joins Leading Digital Marketing Solutions Provider to Enhance Delivery of Professional Services and Spearhead Global Operations

San Mateo, Calif.—December 12, 2006—Coremetrics™, the leading provider of on-demand Web analytics and precision marketing solutions, today announced that Shawn Farshchi has joined the company as chief operating officer. Farshchi brings more than 25 years of technology experience to the Coremetrics executive team, having previously held senior positions with WebEx Communications, BroadVision Corporation , DHL Airways Inc and Pacific Gas and Electric. Farshchi reports directly to Joe Davis, CEO at Coremetrics, and will be responsible for product development, driving day-to-day operations and maintaining core efficiencies and company culture as Coremetrics continues to grow.

Farshchi was previously CIO and VP of technical operations at WebEx, a worldwide leader in online meeting applications, where his main responsibilities included global operations, platform engineering, customer operations, IT and security. Other roles held at WebEx included GM, voice applications, where he led the development, delivery and expansion of WebEx's Next Generation of Audio Services. Among his many accomplishments over the course of three years at WebEx, Shawn grew the audio division from a $4M per year operation to $43M per year.

Prior to WebEx, Farshchi served as CIO and senior vice president, engineering & product development at BroadVision Corporation; regional vice president, Oracle managed services at Oracle Corporation and senior vice president and CIO of DHL Airways. Farshchi has also held technical and management positions at Pacific Gas and Electric, Contel, GTE and Bechtel Power Corp. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, San Francisco as well as an MS in Telecommunications and an MBA, both from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
