appointed Russell Wirth as the company's new vice president
of sales. Wirth brings nearly fifteen years of sales experience
from leading companies like Closedloop Solutions, Crystal Decisions
and IRI Software to the Coremetrics team. As the new vice president
of sales at Coremetrics, Wirth will be responsible for driving
the company's growing revenues by developing new customer relationships
across the financial services, retail, business commerce, and
travel markets.

Prior to joining Coremetrics, Wirth served as vice president
of sales at Closedloop Solutions, a leader in real-time, forward-looking
financial management applications, where he was responsible
for building the national field and inside sales teams, creating
the company's forecasting methodology, designing the sales model
and revising sales engineering practices and tools. During his
successful tenure at Closedloop Solutions, Wirth helped the
company increase its annual revenue run rate, while growing
it's sales pipeline by over 200% and developing numerous field-based
sales partnerships. Prior to his tenure at Closedloop Solutions,
Wirth spent four years as the western region sales director
at Crystal Decisions, a leading information management software
company formerly known as Seagate Software. In this role, Wirth
was responsible for all revenue generation from sales of the
company's business intelligence, reporting, and analytic application
software. At Crystal Decisions, Wirth had cross-functional management
responsibility, which included implementing new solution-selling
sales models, redefining sales compensation plans, steering
the company's VAR partnership program, advancing the professional
services messaging and spearheading a customer advocacy strategy.
Under his leadership, the western region's field sales team
quadrupled in size while producing more new named accounts and
"Sales Reps of The Year" than any other region. Prior
to Crystal Decisions, Wirth held senior sales management, director
and sales vice president positions at several major corporations
including Information Resources, Inc. Software, Citicorp POS
Information Services and Donnelly Marketing. He received a B.A.
in Business and Economics, with honors, from Colorado College.
