solutions, today announced that Brett Hurt, chairman and founder
of Coremetrics, has been selected to keynote at the kick-off event
for the Wharton Class of 2003 Preterm, this year themed "Adventures

Week, and is frequently cited as the most effective in preparing
graduates to lead organizations in a global business environment.
The Wharton Adventures in Global Leadership event takes place on
Monday, July 30, 2001, in the Annenberg Center's Zellerbach Theatre

Leadership is an annual welcoming event for all students entering
the MBA program and is designed to introduce students to alumni,
faculty and staff. Hurt, the alumni keynote, will present an overview
of life within the Wharton community and offer strategic insight
about life as an entrepreneur after graduation from Wharton.
"The Wharton School is dedicated to developing leaders – our
students leave the Wharton MBA program with the skills they need
to lead organizations in a global business environment," says
Wharton Graduate Vice Dean Anjani Jain. "The entrepreneurial
spirit that Brett Hurt has displayed after his graduation from Wharton
is a perfect example of the type of success our students can achieve
when they leave Wharton."
The Wharton School is dedicated to the spirit of entrepreneurialism,
and recently created the William and Phyllis Mack Center for Technological
Innovation. As the umbrella organization for all of Wharton's technology
management initiatives, the Mack Center will support the research
and publishing activities of Wharton faculty members, create an
endowed professorship and support a student-run conference. The
Mack Center will include the Mack Program in Technological Innovation,
which will encompass the Wharton Emerging Technologies Management
Research Program, a high-level corporate learning network for senior
executives and academic researchers guided by a cross-disciplinary
group of senior Wharton faculty members and staff. The Mack Center
will work in concert with Wharton's related initiatives, such as
the Sol C. Snider Entrepreneurial Center and the Goergen Entrepreneurial
