that Jim Wambach, former Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Chemdex,
has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Client Services.
Wambach will draw on twenty-four years of experience to provide
strategic counsel and oversee Coremetrics' sales, account management,
service activation, and professional services teams.

Wambach brings over twenty-four years' experience in executive general
management, executive sales management and business development
to the Coremetrics team. Most recently, Wambach served as the Vice
President of Worldwide Sales for Chemdex, a Ventro life sciences
company and a well-respected pioneer of the B2B Internet commerce
business model. There, he was responsible for the strategic business
design and implementation of one of the first B2B sales and account
services business teams, which allowed for the rapid growth of Ventro
into a recognized leader in the Business-to-Business Internet Commerce
space. Prior to Chemdex, he served in executive management roles
with a number of fast growth, high technology companies, including
Forte Software and Oracle Corporation. While at Forte Software Wambach
dramatically increased the productivity and service levels of the
North American Sales and Support Organization.
Other experience includes various sales management and general management
positions at Sybase where, prior to assuming the role of VP/General
Manager of the Worldwide Alliance Solutions group, Wambach spent
several years developing the 125-plus person Central Area sales
and service organization into the company's number one performing
business unit.
